DAC HISTORY
The Downtown Athletic Club, founded in 1990, was originally located in the basement of the Manger Building on Johnson
Square. The basement was once
the home of the "Purple Tree
Lounge" when the building
was a thriving hotel. The DAC stayed
in the Manger Building for another 11 years before relocating
to it's present site on Broughton Street in September of 2001.
Hours of Operation
Mon-Thur 6 am-9 pm
Friday 6 am-8pm
Saturday 8 am-6 pm
Sunday 9 am-4 pm

We are dedicated to the mission of providing the most recent knowledge, technology and equipment for your body, mind, and spirit.
